Wilderness and Remote First Aid

This 16 hour course is held over two or Three days and covers first aid topics in the wilderness and remote context. Exploring traumatic injuries and medial emergencies in a context where definitive medical care is out of reach. From patient assessment and caring for critical systems to making informed evacuation decisions, this course covers all aspects of dealing with emergencies in the wilderness and remote context. Prerequisites include a valid American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR certification and must be at least 14 years old.

 

CPR.

We offer a variety of CPR and AED trainings including Adult, Child, and Pediatric. Add on options include basic First Aid, Anaphylaxis and emergency Epinephrine Auto-Injector training, and Tourniquet application. Learning how to perform CPR and use an AED are essential skills in any leadership environment.
